Domains (2019)

Structured entirely around an actors’ table read, Domains centres on the repeated exchanges between childhood friends Aki and Nodoka. Nodoka immersed in family life, while Aki withdraws from work following a personal crisis. As lines and gestures are repeated across shifting spaces and situations, the film gradually blurs the boundaries between rehearsal and lived experience.
