Fundamentally Happy (2015)

A young man pays a visit to his old neighbour while on a trip home. This encounter stirs up bittersweet memories and a repressed traumatic event that forces both parties to confront their deepest and darkest secrets. Adapted from the award-winning play of the same name by Haresh Sharma and Alvin Tan, Fundamentally Happy premiered at the 50th Southeast Asian Film Festival. The film was shot by acclaimed cinematographer Christopher Doyle.
