Hedgie (2026)
dir. CK Koh
Hedgie is a 10-minute silent short film directed by Malaysian artist and storyteller CK Koh, featuring his signature character Box Boy - a quiet, curious figure who sees the world with child-like wonder. In this heartfelt journey, Box Boy searches for his missing friend, a small hedgehog toy named Hedgie. Along the way, he wanders through streets, fields, and mountains, meeting kind strangers and discovering that every step is part of finding not just a friend, but himself. The film is part of the project - A Voyage of Box Boy: From Here to You, which combines photography, film, and interactive experiences to explore themes of longing, belonging, and the connections that carry us across distances.
