Nowhere to Lay My Eyes (2026)

Experimental filmmaker Sang-hee, accompanied by her brother, visits her mother on Jeju Island after a decade’s absence. She meets her documentarian stepfather and her younger, aspiring artist stepsister for the first time. Marked by awkward niceties and blink-and-you’ll-miss microexpressions, the tension in the mother–daughter reunion remains oblique. Family conversations flit naturally between artmaking, beauty, and even the notion of eternity.
