Summer Drift (2026)

In a Swiss watch factory, Johanna Schopfer — playing a semi-fictionalised version of herself — moves through her days in a haze of monotony, worn down by the tedium of her work and discrimination from the mechanics’ community around her. Determined to reclaim her sense of self, she sets her sights on an automobile race across Belgium. She begins restoring her battered, rust-streaked Volkswagen Beetle: a hands-on return to the trade that once defined her, and that never expected a trans woman like her to belong.
