Tangles (2026)

Sarah puts her exciting life as an activist and artist in 90s San Francisco on hold and returns to her small, conservative hometown after her mother’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis. While her father struggles with his own grief, Sarah’s caregiving duty affects every part of her life, including her romantic relationship. Despite the heartrending effects of Alzheimer’s, the film imbues her mother with a personality beyond the disease: feisty, funny, with flashes of her old self.
