The Wages of Fear (1953)

In a South American town, an American company holds a monopoly on job opportunities, which are scarce. Desperate for money, four European men embark on a highly dangerous task through mountainous roads. They agree to the near-suicide mission of transporting nitroglycerin, a highly explosive liquid, in two trucks without any additional protection. What follows is a suspenseful journey as the men begrudgingly work together to overcome unforeseen obstacles along the way.
