Synopsis
On a remote northern Thai farm, a dying man spends his final days with his family, a forest spirit, and the ghost of his wife. Chalermrat Kaweewattana’s sound design transforms the rural landscape into a living, breathing character, where birdsong, rustling leaves, and distant echoes carry memory and the supernatural. Apichatpong’s vision blends sound and image, creating a meditative rhythm where life, death, and past lives resonate through every sonic detail.
