Synopsis
Kickers (2019)
Natasha and Dale are inseperable childhood friends and neighbours. For years, they have been spending time together and sharing their common interest - soccer. However, when Dale must move away, their friendship must change.
Sultan Mahmood Mangkat Dijulang (1961)
Based on the royal and political events during the heyday of the Malacca Sultanate. A member of the Sultanate, Megat Datuk Seri Rama, successfully defeats a group of pirates, and rescues a local beautiful woman in the process. The king, Sultan Mahmud, was delighted with his victory for his kingdom and promotes Megat Datuk Seri Rama to Rear Admiral Datuk. This leads to resentment and jealousy from another member of the court, Bija Tun Ali, especially after Rear Admiral Megat Datuk Seri Rama marries the woman he rescued. Bija Tun Ali then leads a conspiracy against him which ultimately leads to tragedy and upheaval in the kingdom.
Bangkit (2019)
Salimah's Kuih Bangkit have always been laced with love, care and devotion passed down from generation to generation. But when her shop was destroyed in the 1964 racial riots, Salimah found herself full of resentment and hate, and her hands did not bake like they used to.
Now, she - with the help of her family - must overcome her distrust and revive her love for baking. "Bangkit", which also means to rise, is a story of finding harmony amidst chaos, resilience, one's own willpower and the effects of love in a community.
Pesanan. (2026)
A Hari Raya short film about two siblings navigating love, conflict and the responsibilities within family. Inspired by the Malay peribahasa "air dicincang tidak akan putus", reflecting the belief that family bonds can never truly be broken.
The story explores themes of regret, unspoken love, loss and the sacrifices family members make for one another. The film highlights the beauty of traditional Malay sayings and poetry, a cultural element slowly fading among younger generation. Audiences can expect a reflective and emotional cinematic experience. The film encourages viewers to appreciate their loved ones and reflect on the meaning of family before it is too late.
Nenek (2019)
A Malay-speaking woman and her English-speaking grandson struggle to connect after her daughter leaves her in charge of taking care of him.
